Dopesick Stories:

Watch this highlight video of some of our best testimonials. These are real people who have been afflicted by drug addiction in some way. By sharing these stories, Dopesick Apparel hopes to save the lives of those who currently suffer from drug addiction and also those who are sober & normies.

Well, my issue is alcohol and it has been for 10years, since I was 22. It’s been really horrible at times where I would black out drink 6 days a week, stay up all night, go to work drunk/hungover. Have an hour nap after work and do it all over again. That lasted from 22-25. I stopped drinking once I was diagnosed with sever anxiety and depression. I tend to date people who also drink all the time or do drugs so I ended up back into drinking and then started mixing that in with cocaine. Within a couple years I ended up in the mental hospital with eating disorders and my mental health at an all time low. Within all this I would get so drunk all the time that I would never remember anything, most of my 20s I don’t remember. Now I’m in a great relationship and have been for 3 years. He doesn’t drink and I occasionally drank because all my “friends” still did. The last time I drank to the point of blacking out and not remembering anything was Aug 24, 2019. I don’t have a limit and it’s Something I have never been able to do.

I have been sober for just over a month and I plan on staying that way, I can’t handle the mental spiral it puts me through, to the point where I can’t talk or see anyone for a week. I lay in bed and cry.
I’ve never been arrested or homeless but I have almost died a couple of times by falling down flights of stairs.
My advice to anyone who’s newly sober is Don’t give in to the temptation and keep pushing, things will get better.
Also surround yourself with like minded people and people who suupport you, you are who you hang out with. I learned that in my 20s.
